Stay-N-Sleep is an American vacation rental online marketplace company based in New York City, NY, United States that has served 20M+ guest arrivals with 200+ local experiences. Stay-N-Sleep offers an alternative to traditional hotels, by providing not just lodging but also an integrated tourist experience that can immersive guests into the local culture and community.  To build upon Stay-N-Sleep current offering, business users and casual travelers are actively requesting for a loyalty and rewards program. This request fits with the product goals of having a better travel experience than traditional hotels and seems to fit into the product roadmap of creating great stickiness of our users to the Stay-N-Sleep platform. 


Internally, the executive leadership team already knows it costs five times more to acquire new customers than it does to retain current customers. Therefore, anything that can tap into existing users is generally well received. Lastly, since I was brought on the team to focus exclusively on the loyalty program, one can imagine the outer product and eng team did not have the bandwidth or focus to work on this project, but it is a company priority.  


Throughout the case study, I outlined a well-defined roadmap for the new loyalty and rewards program initiative at Stay-N-Sleep. I prioritized features based on market conditions, designed the user journey and wireframes, and built the complete Product Requirements Document (PRD) for the product.
